Two big rooms, one tiny kitchen, and a question that took a while to answer: which room is the bedroom?
The solution was a bookshelf — open, airy, floor-to-ceiling. It splits the larger room in two without closing it off. Books and plants on one side, bed on the other. Behind the bed, a passage to what used to be an attic. Now it’s a wardrobe.
Terracotta and checkerboard in the bathroom. Brass everywhere, quietly. Dark wood, a woven headboard, sage green.
